- ➤ Texas A&M University and the Corps of Cadets will hold a funeral service for former mascot Reveille IX on Friday, Oct. 10 at 5 p.m. at the O.R. Simpson Drill Field—after the ceremony, attendees will see the mascot laid to rest at the Reveille Memorial with the past Reveilles. KXXV
