EDUCATION NEWS

  • Texas A&M University and the Corps of Cadets will hold a funeral service for former mascot Reveille IX on Friday, Oct. 10 at 5 p.m. at the O.R. Simpson Drill Field—after the ceremony, attendees will see the mascot laid to rest at the Reveille Memorial with the past Reveilles.  KXXV

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • On Sept. 30, the College Station City Council met to discuss overnight parking rules for the Southside and Eastgate neighborhoods and gathered input from both residents and students to improve street safety—officials will use the feedback before a public hearing on Oct. 23.  The Battalion
