Texas A&M Corps announced that Reveille IX died Saturday from pneumonia complications—details confirm the loss of a cherished symbol in Aggieland.

Texas A&M University's Commandant for the Corps of Cadets said Reveille IX passed away Saturday from pneumonia complications after serving as the official mascot from May 2015 until her retirement in April 2021.

Veterinary care was provided by Sevenson Companion Animal Life-Care Center and Texas A&M Small Animal Teaching Hospital—funeral details will be shared later.
