Texas A&M’s Young Americans for Freedom chapter hosted human rights activist Yeonmi Park on Nov.
20 at the Memorial Student Center in room MSC 2404, where she recounted her escape from North Korea and explained how socialism stripped away freedoms—students asked questions about the meaning of responsibility and freedom.

Texas A&M associate professor Annmarie MacNamara is leading the W.E.
Brain study to better understand mood disorders using non-invasive tests such as fMRI and EEG. The research records participant responses during tasks and will complete data analysis in Summer 2026.
