- ➤ Texas A&M University was named a dream school in a new book by Jeff Selingo (a New York Times bestselling author) who studies education and the job market. The Eagle
- ➤ The College Station School Board approved a policy that will allow out-of-district transfers — a move expected to raise revenue and provide families with an extra enrollment option. Board members said the change will help support school programs. The Eagle
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Texas A&M Large Animal Hospital is preparing for a large influx of equine herpesvirus cases in the coming weeks after confirmed cases and one fatality emerged from barrel racing events in Waco, with two cases in Texas and additional cases linked to events in Oklahoma and Louisiana. The hospital has increased its biosecurity measures—isolating horses and checking temperatures—and experts urge horse owners to monitor their animals closely. KXXV
