- ➤ Veterans and their families gathered at Veterans Park on Veterans Day to honor 144 new names added to the Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial Wall of Honor + the wall now holds over 6,900 names. The memorial is accepting submissions for next year's ceremony until August 15 + allowing more veterans to be recognized in the future. KXXV
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Aggie Arthouse, a student-run group at Texas A&M, held a free screening this past Friday at the Preston Geren Auditorium to bring film lovers together. Founders Martha Ramos and Tanya Alvarez-Salsedo raised funds and planned themed events to spark discussion as they prepare to pass on leadership—students enjoy the unique film experience. - ➤ Texas A&M’s Department of History celebrated its 125th anniversary with events that let the community explore Texas culture, borderlands, and war and society studies—these events included cultural talks, panel discussions, and a new digital history on the department’s website. The celebration will end with a meeting of former students to help guide the department’s future plans. The Battalion
