College Station was publicly recognized Wednesday when it received Tourism Friendly Texas certification from Travel Texas—an honor that highlights the city's ongoing work to ensure visitors have a positive experience.

Texas A&M students celebrated Indian culture this fall by hosting Onam on Sept.

27 at the Lincoln Recreational Center, Diwali at Vivekananda House, and Sharad Navratri Garba night on Oct. 18. The festivities featured traditional games, food, and dance — elements that highlighted the community’s shared heritage.
