🎓 Education
TSTC and AMR launched a 42-week accelerated paramedic program using advanced simulation to help working EMTs upskill and meet Texas EMS needs — the initiative will train the next generation of paramedics for growing local demand.
Texas A&M Board of Regents held their quarterly meeting last week to plan several upcoming projects, including a new RELLIS water tower + additional project details are expected soon.
🏛️ Government
Texas A&M official Kirby Goidel said that college students and young voters are expected to boost midterm election turnout + strengthen community ties.
His research shows that tight neighborhoods can increase voter participation and prompt campaigns to adjust strategies.
🏈 Sports
Texas A&M launched its new 12th Man Memories program last week at Kyle Field with nine fan experiences including behind-the-scenes tours, 50-yard-line family photos, and field passes (Jackson White ’26 led the launch).
The program was well received and may expand to other sports soon.
