  • A Bryan man had his probation revoked and was sentenced to 10 years in prison for continuous violations—court documents stated.  The Eagle

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Today, Governor Abbott directs Texas DPS troopers to enforce new federal rules that require commercial drivers to have proficiency in English—drivers who fail the test risk losing their commercial licenses. The measure has led to 445 enforcement actions since June, sparking debate among truckers over the rule's fairness.  KXXV

HEALTH NEWS

  • Local community groups and mental health agencies are hosting events and programs for Suicide Awareness Month to provide support and resources—College Station residents are invited to attend to learn more about mental health options.  The Eagle
