Texas A&M football players Le’Veon Moss and Rueben Owens II have been named to the Doak Walker Award Preseason Watch List, which honors the best college running backs.
Moss earned strong SEC honors last season and Owens, a redshirt sophomore, returned from a foot injury to play in games such as the Las Vegas Bowl, adding to the Aggies' efforts.
College Station volleyball star Blair Thiebaud makes Team USA's U21 roster and will leave for Indonesia later this week to compete in the Women's U21 World Championships—she earned her spot after another setter dropped out.
She will return to lead the Cougars to a state title before graduating early and beginning her career at Louisville.
