EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ College Station’s Parks and Recreation Department will begin an after-school program on Aug. 13 at the Lincoln Recreation Center for students ages 6 to 15 where they can receive homework help, tutoring and play sports and games. The program runs weekdays from 3 to 6 p.m. until Dec. 19 (costs are $80 for residents, $100 for non-residents and $48 for qualifying households) and transportation is available for a fee. KXXV
