🎓 Education
Texas A&M University will launch a new Artificial Intelligence and Business minor at Mays Business School this fall—its four-course program will help students connect business skills with emerging technology.
The school also plans to add a fifth course next spring and develop an online certificate.
🏛️ Government
Brazos County Commissioners approved a 10-year, $18 million contract to upgrade technology at the Sheriff’s Office and constable’s office starting Oct.1—upgrades that aim to streamline data sharing and reduce paperwork.
The system will include new drones, a small robot, and a real-time translator on body cameras—tools that will help officers spend more time in the field.
