Nine members of Texas A&M’s College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences are in Kerr County providing medical care to search-and-rescue dogs working in the aftermath of deadly flooding.
Officials say the team focuses on keeping the dogs healthy as they help locate missing people.

College Station officials released a preliminary FY 2026 budget of $474,225,698 on Monday, with $390,078,560 set for operations and maintenance — and $84,147,138 for capital projects.
The review process will continue through August with additional meetings and workshops to gather public input.
