🎓 Education
Texas A&M has introduced a new master’s program in Electrical & Computer Engineering that focuses on microelectronics and semiconductors to boost U.S. chip production and meet growing workforce needs.
The program was approved by the University System Board of Regents on May 29 and awaits Higher Education Coordinating Board approval expected by late July.
🏛️ Government
The city of Bryan is reconsidering its raised medians that were installed in 2018 after residents and business owners complained about unsafe turns and traffic issues.
City officials will review proposals to modify or remove the medians in seven areas—pending consultant recommendations and funding decisions.
