  • Today, President Mark Welsh announced that Bill Kibler will start as Vice President of Student Affairs on August 1 after Joe Ramirez retired in January. Kibler brings more than 40 years of experience in higher education and will lead all student services at the university.  The Battalion

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Texas Legislature struck down College Station's rule that limits dwellings to no more than four unrelated people, ending the local occupancy restriction.  The Eagle
  • Texas A&M veterinarian Dr. Lori Teller said SB 2155—a bill that would let vets prescribe animal medication via telemedicine without an initial exam—removes important safety checks; the bill did not receive a vote and advocates plan to push for it again in 2027.  KXXV
