Dr. Mian Riaz, associate head of the Department of Food Science and Technology at Texas A&M, was named a 2025 Fellow by the American Oil Chemists’ Society for his global impact in food science and training; the university announced the honor on May 22.

The College Station School Board approved a $26,856,631 renovation project for Tigerland and Cougar Stadiums that will update bleachers, press boxes and other facilities using JaCody Construction.
