On Thursday, College Station city council heard from developer James Murr about his plan for a 40-acre Midtown area featuring outdoor and indoor waterparks, a hotel and a rec center.
Murr said the project will use a tenant credit finance lease—avoiding more city debt—and could boost tourism if the city meets its promises.

A Bryan man was sentenced to 20 years in prison for assaulting a pregnant woman and evading arrest in a vehicle during his court hearing.
