The Military Family Engagement Ministry will host its second annual chili cook-off + cornhole tournament at First Baptist Church in Bryan Saturday, inviting local families to participate.

A Texas A&M research team in College Station is testing optical propulsion technology that may cut travel time to the nearest star from over 1,000 years to 20.

The team plans to secure funding and scale up experiments+targeting uses for satellites and cargo ships.
