🎓 Education
The College Station School Board approved six positions for the new Career Technology Education Center (opening this fall) to offer hands-on career training for students.
Texas A&M's Cyclotron Institute will begin a $28 million expansion later this year to add space for advanced student research.
The upgrade will allow the installation of larger instruments and support new experiments in its nearly 60-year-old facility.
College Station School Board approved a $2.5M plan to purchase new buses and apply for a grant to retrofit others (the decision supports enhanced transportation for students).
