Texas A&M education advisor Angela Rivas and doctoral student Jordan Davis are uniting the Latin dance community with monthly socials at Southwood Community Center and salsa classes at Innovative Fitness.
The events, held on the fourth Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m., kick off with one hour of instruction followed by two hours of social dancing.
Texas A&M sophomore Aiden Ross, winner of The Voice, will perform at Visit College Station (Tuesday, Jan.
20 at 6 p.m.) to entertain local fans.

Texas A&M held an open house Monday morning at its Nuclear Engineering Education Building, leading dignitaries on a tour of its nuclear reactor.
The event highlighted the campus's focus on science education (and advanced research).

College Station PD’s CARE team has provided on-the-spot mental health support for two years, offering de-escalation and wellness checks while officials say a local inpatient facility is needed for treatment (a service praised by residents).
