Holiday Schedule and Facility Closures in College Station and Bryan

The cities of College Station and Bryan are adjusting their schedules for the holiday season. Residential solid waste collection dates will be shifted following Christmas and New Year's Day. Citizens are advised to remove all decorations from Christmas trees for free curb disposal on scheduled brush and bulky collection days. Key city facilities, including recreation centers and utility offices, will be closed, but emergency services remain available. Public libraries will also see temporary closures, and residents can make BTU bill payments online or via kiosks.

Holiday Cheer: Sheriff's Office Gifts to Families in Need

In Brazos County, the Sheriff's Office, alongside Santa Claus and Head Start program, delivered Christmas gifts to 3-year-old Carol Chuc and her mother as part of its 10th annual Adopt a Family program.
